Independent Horror Film "Muck" Dismantling Hollywood Indian Stereotypes

Steve Wolsh’s independent horror film, Muck stars actress Puja Mohindra as Chandi, a character whose arc has nothing to do with her Indian heritage, which goes against the Hollywood norm for Indian characters.

Puja says, “It’s rare to have the opportunity to play an ethnic character where her ethnicity has nothing to do with the story. Chandi is the main love interest of the story and a vital member of the group of friends who go on this scary ride – THAT just happens to be Indian. It sounds so simple, but it’s actually very modern, even revolutionary. It’s a testament to Steve’s vision and innovative spirit.

Puja Mohindra stars along with horror legend Kane Hodder and Jaclyn Swedberg, as well as Australian Lachlan Buchanan (Newcastle, Pretty Little Liars, and NCIS: Red), YouTube sensation Lauren Francesca, Bryce Draper (The Haves and the Have Nots), Grant Alan Ouzts, Stephanie Danielson, and Laura Jacobs (Almost Human).

Recently, WithAnO Productions released all its clips and trailers in stunning Ultra HD / 4K.
