Her 2013 film Border Break is what makes the horror/thriller category so vast and has gotten some considerable attention. A chilling 'based on true events' story, it seems to be a docu-narrative that focuses on re-telling the events behind teenager Janet Taylor's disappearance in Mexico three years ago.
Lakisha's body of work seems to be genre diverse but seeing that she's open to creatively expressing herself through horror, I would love to see and support more projects of hers in this arena.
